Amosh

I created Amosh to be my sona, but he eventually became his own thing. He was just too powerful for me. He was made back in 2022 with a coyote color palette but eventually he became all blue and progressively more associated with occultism.

To give more detail: I created Amosh because my friend Griff convinced me to make a coyote sona. I tried using it as a sona, and Griff made a lovely sketch of Amosh getting pissed on, but I just couldn’t use him as my sona. I never identified with him, maybe because I made him too serious? But anyway, he was an important step for me to eventually have my own sona, as Doldrum once wanted to draw me and used Amosh as a reference, drawing a handsome little wolf with round glasses… From then on, that wolf became my sona and Amosh became an OC that I haven’t drawn in a while.

To me, Amosh was an eternal entity, a spirit of homosexuality, who showed up, made me realize I’m into watersports, took a form that would lead me into finding my own sona, disappeared forever… Maybe he’s now visiting other gays in a different, irrecognizable form, that shall open the way for them to find their own sonas.
