Edu Soccer

Soccer comic! This one I think I made in less than a week, but I’m pretty sure it was somewhat scripted before I began drawing. In this one I wanted to flesh out the small background characters I had drawn in page 2 of Shady Business, and they became characters I’m very fond of.

The thing about the P.E. teacher in page 2 is inspired by how I hated to play soccer and yet 95% of the time that was all we did in that class. The teacher, seeing that I didn’t even know how to kick a ball, decided to believe I was slacking off on purpose instead of, you know, teaching me, and the other kids just seemed annoyed at me for being bad while not trying to help me either. Years later I played soccer with some friends and was in shock of how much fun I had when, you know, I was in an environment where people actually wanted to have fun with me instead of seeing me as a hindrance.

The last page has a long pseudo-physics discussion in which I used the paper-writing skills college taught me. Please enjoy.
